Investigate the mansion to discover which party guest is a homicidal maniac
Bust out your magnifying glass and get ready for sleuthing. Joymoa inc. brings you Mystery-Gallery Homicide, where you'll have to scour a creepy old mansion for clues leading to the apprehension of a party guest gone postal.
Play as Matt Redmond, a dashing young detective with uncanny powers of deduction (when oh when will the mediocre detectives get their own storylines?). After tapping through an optional (and highly recommended) tutorial, you're foisted directly into an invite-only artsy party. All's well until the lights dramatically extinguish themselves. Their return find the host - gasp! - dead on the floor. Matt's only begun to investigate when the killer makes yet another deadly move. The intrigue!
I'm a huge fan of mysteries and logical problem solving. That said, there are several serious impediments to loving Mystery-Gallery Homicide. One is simply that the app is poorly programmed - it crashes frequently, which is beyond unacceptable when you're attempting to immerse yourself in the storyline. Another is the lack of precision in the controls. Sometimes you're required to tap a minuscule area of the screen to activate a clue; if your fingers aren't toothpicks, you'll find it tricky to select the correct pixel. The music is also extremely repetitive and quickly becomes grating.
Joymoa inc.'s Mystery-Gallery Homicide is a nice idea for a mystery-solving app, and perhaps those with more patience than me will enjoy it.
No way in and no way out from the party! Two murders and no suspects...
The murderer is amoung us...
Will the truth be revealed?
Will justice be served?
Matt Redmond was expecting nothing more than a leisurely evening of observing art work when he was invited to the pre-exhibition party.
Then he ran into Detective Christopher Columbo at the party, he sensed there might be something more going on there. And all of a sudden, all lights go out, and shortly after the party host, Steven Hilton is discovered dead. Steven's death was caused by a heart attack from being eletrocuted. But Matt Redmond keen detective sense investigates the scene and soon discovers evidence against ruling out Steven's death as being purely accidental. It appeared that was only the beginning of a long night of continuous mysteries... Shortly after, another blackout and another murder...
The pre-exhibition party was an invite only party and now with two murders on the same evening!
The murderer must be someone among us in the gallery now!
