Dodge drag trash obstacles and get fabulous in RuPaul themed runner

Rather than "good" or "bad," I'm going to categorize So Much Drama Studios RuPaul's Drag Race: Dragopolis as very solidly "otherwise." How else can I rain down judgement on an app based on customized drag queen avatars running amok in a supposed battle against the accursed Queen Apocalypstyk?

If you're considering downloading Dragopolis, chances are you're not seeking thrilling gameplay or an engaging storyline. You're looking for attitude, and girl, you have found it. Play as a cartoon drag queen hightailing it down a seemingly endless highway littered with obstacles. Each object bears an arrow; swipe in the right direction to dodge it and you'll receive constant accolades from a disembodied RuPaul.

Use the coins you gain from running and dodging to deck yourself to the nines in the workshop (... werkshop?). Glitter and glam are available for purchase here, as well as an extensive array of oversize wigs (duh). Your character's face in particular is highly customizable - select from loads of cartoon options, or snap a photo and import your own gorgeous visage into the game.

The gameplay here is repetitive, unimaginative, and frankly boring. The app reliably crashes every time I try to use my own face in my avatar (although my lovely features do show up when I restart the app). But neither of these things is the fantabulous point.

So Much Drama Studios RuPaul's Drag Race: Dragopolis is absolutely worth a couple silly giggles; the app is pretty much precisely what you think it ought to be.

Developer's original description available here
RuPaul’s Drag Race: Dragopolis is a fantabulous adventure starring a drag queen fighting for RuPaul. The evil drag queen Apocalypstyk has broken into the workroom on day one of RuPaul’s Drag Race in order to sabotage the show and kidnap the men in the pit crew. Players control our drag queen heroine, and can customize this ferocious character with sickening wigs, outfits and even their own face. In order to save the day, she races to the main stage, jumping and clawing her way past Apocalypstyk’s increasingly fierce minions, all while serving up new looks for the photo shoots! There is no RuPaulogizing in this game!

"[Dragopolis] manages to capture the charm and magic of RuPaul and the queens that have been captivating fans on Logo since 2009." -

“RuPaul’s Drag Race: Dragopolis will rule the roost as gaming’s best squirrelfriend.” -

Use coins in the Workroom to buy outfits, wigs and power-ups. As your customized queen runs down the street, use simple touch action to slide, jump and claw your way through Dragopolis. The longer you last, the more coins you earn.

You can recruit celebrity drag queens Pandora Boxx, Manila Luzon or Yara Sofia for a whole new adventure. Stay tuned for even more super star queens!

Enjoyable, addictive and slick, Dragopolis is not just another runner game. It is fierce fun for kids and adults alike. Get it now and werk it!

It does not respond in time when you give it commands to jump or fly or slide. tried for over an hour and could not get more than 6 coins total waste of time I would not recommend this to my worst enemy

How do U exit the game and turn it off? All I can manage to do is hit the main button on my phone which only minimizes the game. It continues to run in the background. How do U turn it Off Off?

I like the concept of the game, but I really wish there were more queens. Like maybe Adore Delano, or Latrice Royale

The game is pretty fun, but the outfits cost WAY too much. Just wish the game gave more coins so I can afford a new look!
