The plot of the game is quite simple: you're in a world with 360º gravity where a civilization of monster which is on the verge of extinction. In order to save them, you will feed them. And their food is the little characters you have to run toward them across different platforms. You will have to jump from one rotating platform to another and you will never fall off cause of the gravity. Actually, you will be attracted to the platform like a magnet.
On your way, some obstacles like platforms with spikes and mines mus be avoid. In addition, players will have to collect diamonds that will unlock special levels in the seven different worlds of the game. Each world comes with different levels that you must be beaten to pass to the next. There are also up to 25 different achievements to get.
Need To Be Fed runs smoothly thanks to its cool hand-drawn graphics set in black and white. The music is sweet. The game is really entertaining and, the only catch I'd mention is related to its complexity: I've found it quite easy, even on last levels. What's more, there's only a paid version (0.59£)
Need To Be Feed has been developed by YoYo Games Ltd, a successful developer who has launched another great games like Skydiver and Prison ball. If you like complex puzzle games forget this one. Some way to save across multiple devices would be good. Perhaps Google Play Games integration?
In my opinion, this is one of the best platformer games for android.
Controls are easy to master and the levels are challenging and fun. This is a great game to play just to pass the time. I enjoyed seeing what new challenges awaited within each level. Great game!
One suggestion for usability if you unlock a world you should be able to go there without going back to the world selection menu. Also the screen seems to stretch on my device probably due having the design resolution fixed to a certain aspect ratio.
