WWE Presents: Rockpocalypse

WWE Presents: Rockpocalypse's review

by Peter Warrior

A game based on The Rock

  • Over average graphics and animations
  • Overall, disappointing

It's hard to start this review, mainly because when you have on your hands a game availed by a so well-known franchise, you can always expect some degree of disappointment, but coming from WWE you would rather ask for something decent to waste your time in it.

However, this is not the case. Rockpocalypse makes you play through nearly 20 levels (and a more than 200 Mb downloaded) of punching, smashing and smacking. No, it doesn't matter how hard is to believe, but it isn't a wrestling game, and even though it can be considered a fighting game, it becomes pretty boring too quickly. We wouldn't want to be so harsh, this game would have been a complete success for a starting developer, but coming from who you know, we expected much more.

Yes, it's free. Go ahead, go, but don't say you weren't warned. If you read the synopsis you'll know that it's all about a virus and so, but that isn't important either.
