The story has changed. Just a little. Bomberman looks in this game like an astronaut, or a man from the future. The enemies who run away from aren't other bombermen or fantasy animals anymore. They are zombies, not really scary though, but zombies anyway. And yes, gameplay is exactly the same: place bombs to destroy blocks and zombies, kill all the enemies, find the key, find the exit gate and get the hell out of there. That simple.
Zomber's visuals are based on the original version of Bomberman: retro graphics, angled view and dungeon-like environments. Controls feel less smooth and, unfortunately, it doesn't reach the levels of playability of classic Bomberman. It should be enhanced by adding, for example, more game modes, including a multiplayer, online leaderboards, enhanced controls and graphics and, finally, different characters to choose among. By now, Zomber is a time-killing entertaining game but needs to be revamped in those regards.
