Sword masters, dungeon crawlers or spells casters, no matter who you are, or what you want to be: there's place enough for everyone in Montelome, the large open world of 9th Dawn RPG. Fans of the genre will love this title since it comes with all the elements that defines role-playing games like leveling up system, items, spells, classes (Knight, Archer and Mage) with unique skills, quests, treasures and an unexplored world full of dangers and mystery.
9th Dawn is set in 2D retro graphics that reminds Ultima or Tibia. However, this isn't a MMORPG but RPG, at least so far. It ensures hours of dialogues, lots of quests and weaponry and equipment enough to satisfy even the more demanding players. However, have in mind that the game's still in beta and its developer (Valorware) needs your support to keep enhancing it.
It came up in two flavors: a free version limited to Agaria Village and with ads; and an ad-free full version with no restrictions. Highly recommendable.
Explore the large island continent of Montelorne, a land far detached from the mainland, but filled with mystery, danger, and last but not least, adventure. You begin your journey in the small village of Agaria, but once you gain your bearings, you'll find yourself immersed in a world of its own.
Play as one of three of the traditional classes: The sturdy knight, skilled in the art of combat and possessing the ability to wield heavy armour and weapons; the nimble archer, capable of swiftly dispatching a foe from afar or up close with his daggers; the wise mage, master of the elements and capable of utilizing powerful magic spells and summoning abilities to obliterate the enemy.
Whether it's searching for hidden artifacts and treasure, helping the troubled Montelornians with the rising undead armies, or simply exploring the massive world and its many towns, dungeons, and forests, there is no shortage of fun for a bold adventurer to partake of!

We would personally like to thank all of our supporters and players, whether they be from our failed Kickstarter campaign, a fan of our tech demo that we released some months back, or a family member or friend. It is your interest and support that has driven this project and gotten us to this point in the game's development. It may have taken us a bit longer, but we are proud to present the game to you all as it is now.
If you are uncertain of purchasing right now, feel free to check out the free version of the game! The free version contains all of the features of the full game; it just limits you to a small portion of the world map.
We are currently aware of some issues which affect framerate and loading times. If you encounter a long loading time or black screen, give it some time. Mobile phones have not quite caught up yet for such an open world, expansive map system, but we are making efforts to enhance the performance experience and will be adding options to enhance performance on lower end phones in the future. Note: We do not guarantee support for resolutions below 320x480, but the game should run great on tablets.
We strongly encourage all players to e-mail us with any questions, concerns, suggestions, bug reports, or otherwise at support@valorware.com. We make it one of our top priorities to personally respond to all e-mails we get from you, because your thoughts are important to us! In addition, you can also follow us and chat with us on Facebook, where we post most of our development updates for you to keep up with!

As this is our initial release, there are bound to be some bugs and crash situations, so if you encounter them, PLEASE shoot us an e-mail with any information concerning the bug or crash, including your phone model and OS information.
We are currently working on fixing up a few remaining bugs. With your help and bug reports, we hope to get the game into pristine shape for all to enjoy!
Note: Please do not report bugs only in your reviews! E-mail us as well so we can help you out!
Once again, thanks for your support, please tell all of your friends, and good luck and have fun!

This game requires around 130MB of available RAM to play. If you do not have the required amount of available memory, the game may crash (at startup or in game), display a black screen, or have no graphics because there isn't enough memory to load them. There is nothing we can really do about this, since htis is how much memory is necessary to load the media and content of the game.

OK, but dungeons can be really frustrating and unbalanced. Bs deaths and retracing boards many times isn't fun.

It's okay so far but I can't get past a couple of issues.. First, the scenery flickering due to the character's line of sight is very annoying : please could we have it so that the area stays visible once discovered (like baldurs gate)? Also, you have an

I hope biome colours change. Maybe some LAN coop would be really awesome! And map waypoints would be cool too. :)

There are basically no quests after the first town.. I would like consistent quests that don't bug out when you go to turn them in
