Scroll up, lighting thumb and quick reflexes. The gameplay has nothing new to offer, nor it wanted to. Just dodge, shoot and throw a big cleaner bomb every now and then. On the road, bridges and buildings can be blown and, if this were not enough, and the end of each level there’s a huge boss expecting us.
Worth saying that the soundtrack is spectacular and graphics are superb, much better than the average shoot’em up game usually offer us.
Art in Games is the successfully developer of the Air Attack series.
That’s for sure that Air Attack HD won’t earn any prize for its originality (neither had Midway’s 1942) . But it’s really well done and perhaps one of the best in its genre. And, if you have already enjoyed this Part1, don’t hesitate to try Part2.
