Dragon Sky Rush

Dragon Sky is a beat'em up game inspired by Dragon Ball and Yu Yu Hakusho anime

I have to admit that what firstly attract me to this game were their screenshots: Dragon Sky is a casual game set in anime graphics inspired by Dragon Ball Z and Yu Yu Hakusho. In the beginning I though it was a DBZ fighting game. If you're looking for that I'm afraid that isn' what you will get here.

Anime Rush is one of those beat'em up game. Although scenery reminds those anime series, nor the plot either the characters are related to. You embody a replica of Goku who's trying to save the planet from monster attacks. Your goal is to advance through levels knocking down all your enemies (that really look like Buu, Cell and others) while avoiding run out of HP. Actually, the guy auto-run, you can only go up/down and attack. There are two basic attacks and two special attacks that requires energy balls to be launched.

Two basic game modes: Arcade and Story mode. Beside the plot scenes, gameplay is similar in both. Graphics are cute, although it seems that the developer take advantage of DBZ and Yu Yu Hakusho graphics to attract more users, taking into account that the gameplay isn't related to them. Anyway, a good timewaster.
