Slash fruit and earn as many points as you can

Fruit Ninja is an addictive game for Android where your aim is to slash as many fruit as possible by swiping up across the screen. Be careful with the bombs and don’t let the fruit fall without being slashed.

First of all, we want to emphasize the great usability of the app, which uses the same control as the game itself (swiping) for navigating around the menu options.

There are three game modes available: classic, zen and arcade.
Classic means having three lives that end when you miss three pieces of fruit.
Zen mode works with limited time but with no bombs nor lives so you can relax while playing. Arcade, on the other hand, also works with limited time but it includes powerups (freeze, frenzy and double score) to help you increase your score.

In the Dojo section, you can use your slashed fruits in order to purchase new themes or better blades. The graphics are great and the controls are smooth, the only thing we could criticize about it is the ads, which keep appearing and are pretty annoying.

Fruit Ninja THD was created by Halfbrick Studios, also developers of its free and paid version. Be sure to check this great game out. This one version works only with NVIDIA Tegra based Android devices.

Developer's original description available here
This THD version of Fruit Ninja is optimized for NVIDIA Tegra 2 based Android devices only.

Fruit Ninja is a juicy action game with squishy, splatty and satisfying fruit carnage! Become the ultimate bringer of sweet, tasty destruction with every slash.

Swipe up across the screen to deliciously slash fruit like a true ninja warrior. With three games modes in single player and worldwide leaderboards using Openfeint, the addictive gameplay will keep you coming back for even higher scores.

Fruit Ninja features three packed gameplay modes - Classic, Zen and the new Arcade, featuring powerups including Freeze, Frenzy and Double Score! The bonus Dojo section includes unlockable blades and backgrounds, and you can also unlock achievements and post scores to the online leaderboards with Openfeint.

Fruit Ninja is the original and the best slasher on Android!

But needs to be updated. Openfeint has been shutdown for a while now and that should be addressed in an update

The THD versions has not kept pace at all with the originals. It still uses the defunct OpenFeint leader board system, which times out on load and sometimes crashes the game. Talked to Halfbrick support, said they would be issuing an update to remove Open

Come on halfbrick, why would you ignore Android? Android provides you with significant amount of profits from fruit ninja. Stop favouring iOS! Would be 5 stars if it was up to date with iOS.

This is a fantastic game as anyone knows, but why the lack of updates? Its been YEARS. And that goes for your other games, Halfbrick. You neglect your games on Android, and that's really disappointing :(

The problems I have is that the bar thing at the bottom gets in the way, especially in multiplayer. Speaking of multiplayer where's the online, and where's the starfruit?

Some updates? Get rid of Open Feint and fix the lag. Show some respect to the folks who by your products?
