Can't download roms since they were removed for copyright issues seems pointless now

I put my game in sleep mode while playing zelda and now I can't get the emulator to play any of my games... All I can see is the buttons and a white screen...

This app was great on my old phone, but I just got a Droid turbo, and no matter where I download the file to the app will instantly say no files found. It doesn't even show it looking, John GBA just won't recognize any game files, making is useless.
