Jumping Tim is a game that I've made during my thesis. It is not complete and probably never will. This is to be considered an alpha version (there will be bugs). This is my very first attempt at making a game and I've learned alot during the development. I am now abandoning this project as I've got plans for a new game that will have better animations, more refined mechanics and overall better design (and of course tons of enemies, levels, bosses, etc). The music is made by Matt McFarland (mattmcfarland.com) and uses the creative commons license. All the sound programming isn't done which means some sound effects are missing. The new game will also be in development for much longer than this as I've had a deadline to follow on this one. There's not much to say about the next game at this moment except that everything will be improved.
- Collision detection acting a little weird when jumping towards a single block and hitting it at a certain angle. This will either make you be placed on top of the block or get a massive jump.
- Performance issues on some devices.
- Sometimes a crash appears at the beginning of the first level. This has to do with the collision detection (doesn't happen often at all)
Tested on Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Galaxy Gio, Sony Xperia P and Asus Nexus 7.
