Meteor Blitz presents itself as the gimmicky yet spectacular grandson of Asteroids, imitating its original gameplay at the same time that brings long time needed features such as new weapons, new meteors, items and bonuses. For those of you whom don't know what's this all about, let's tell that you pilot a fancy spaceship in the middle of a field of rogue meteors. You're like a magnet to them, so it'd be better if you can show some driving skills to avoid them at the same time that you blast them with lasers, bombs and whatever weapon you have. Big meteors break up in smaller stones and, once you've cleaned the atmosphere of one world -therefore surviving to the meteor shower- you'll be able to jump to the next and increase difficulty.
This game has far better graphics than you can expect of a space shooter. Music can sound a little bit repetitive, but isn't terrible, just plain. What really do their job beyond all doubt are the sound effects and blasts.
If you're looking for a spectacle of adrenaline and colors, look no further. Alley Labs has set everything out for you. This worthy paid version comes free of ads and helps the developer.

Controls are great. Challenging. Levels get harder. Different enemies as levels progress. Will be looking for the sequel. Good job!

...from the Apple version as they look way better than this version. Its a good game but wish the weapons had meaty sound effects and the visuals were as good as those shown above. Actually, the visuals look very pixelated on a high end tablet.
