Go back in time with Nintendo 64 games for your Android device.
It may be unfair to judge a game while it's still in beta testing, but reviews must be fair. It's hard not to love apps that take the player back to old Nintendo games with a healthy dose of nostalgia, but unfortunately Mupen64 still has some work to do before it's ready for prime time.
Being able to relive old Nintendo 64 games is always fun. Mupen64 also loads up quickly and does not hog device resources. The concept is solid even if the execution leaves much to be desired.
It's not easy to figure out exactly how to play a game. Once loaded the game takes you to an opening screen with a play button that's grayed out. It took several minutes of trial an error just to figure out what was going on. Visuals need a lot of work. It's quite obvious that this game is currently in beta testing.

Mupen64Plus, Android Edition (AE) is an N64 emulator for Android. It is currently in Beta testing, which means it is a work in progress. There are still many graphical, lag, and audio problems, even on modern devices. Visit www.paulscode.com to get involved in development and testing, as well as bug-fixes and FAQs.
In order to avoid potential copyright issues related to game screenshots, I've decided to use only public domain games and demos for screenshots. However, if the app gets pulled from the Market again, you will still be able to acquire future updates for free on paulscode.com.
This app is licensed by the GNU GPL v3, and the full source code is available through the public GIT repository at https://github.com/paulscode/mupen64plus-ae If any developers would like write access to the repository, please get in touch with me (Paul) on the support forum. If you need help branching the project, just let me know, and I can help you get set up.

It is a really great app, I love the fact that I can play all the 64 games again except is there anyway that if 2 ppl have the app on their phone and wanna play against each other, anyway to make it multiplayed between 2 devices?
But I can use one pak a time please fix
Please fix the flickering on paper mario and majoras mask
Some games run OK, the ones that needed the memory expansion on the original N64 have a lot of errors (kirby64, DK64, etc...). For most of the games this emulator is ok.
Is it possible to edit the cheats or help add to the database because the ogre battle 64 ones don't work and I know of many more I would love to add lemme know
