Samurai vs Zombies Defense has turned upside down tower defense genre

You embody a Samurai who wants to protect his village from hordes of zombies that are trying to invade it. Although it can seem a classic arcade game at first sight, it's not at all: actually it's a new concept of tower-defense game. The main difference is that instead of placing different units through the field, you manage only one Samurai that eventually will be helped by some allies (as special attack). Likewise, he will use power-ups, special attacks and weapons that can be upgraded after each level.

Of course, all of that enhancements have a price: gold or silver rings that you must collect in the field or earn after beating enemies and levels. You can also buy some with real money (in-app purchase). However, unlike other games in which paying for credits with real money becomes something mandatory to beat the game, Glu Mobile has played fair here. You can access all the features and levels without spending a cent, but it won't be easy.

Game's scenery is great, as well as fighting effects. Artwork is just hilarious. Controls are really easy to use: move left and right by holding screen sides and tap the attack button for special attacks. Fun and entertaining. Worthy.
