Mille-feuille, or otherwise known as Napolean pastry is made up of three layers of puff pastry, alternating with two layers of pastry cream. The top pastry layer is dusted with confectioner's sugar, and sometimes cocoa, or glazed with icing or fondant in alternating white (icing) and brown (chocolate) stripes, and combed.
It's almost as delicious as baking this lovely pastry.
