ShadowGun: Deadzone is one of those games that tightrope walks between mobile and console gaming. This means that you're going to read a review about the excellence of its graphics, sound and so, but (huge "but" here) you must know beforehand that you need the best device you can afford (512 Mb RAM, Android 3.0 or higher) and chain yourself to a wifi hotspot.
In case you didn't know, it's a multiplayer tactical game, Counter-strike-style, with different player characters and a wide arsenal of different weapons and items to stun, blind, heal or, well, kill. Last standing wins, unless you have chosen the Zone Control mode, which is a "capture the flag" game in the end.
Graphics are beyond anything else in online mobile multiplayer gaming, and the multiplayer voice chat feature brings a whole new dimension we couldn't enjoy in our devices so far. Controls are pretty intuitive, yet discouraging for casual players because you have to manage direction, view, weapons, items and additional on-screen buttons to sprint and roll.
Therefore, a true piece of game, rival to its counterparts in portables. Just a pity that it can only be enjoyed by owners of devices far more expensive that those consoles it imitates. Perhaps in the future we all will be playing it.

I am in absolute awe. I can't believe this is as good as it is. Great graphics, amazing game play, controls are well done. I seriously don't know how this is not the #1 game in the entire market!
