"This is How We Roll"

Reviewed by / May 28, 2015

Rogue Rocket's SushiChop is a well made and super fun slice 'n' dice game with a rustic Japanese feel.

THE VERDICT: Though the game lacks originality in terms of game play, the art style, corny jokes and addictive slicing keep the user coming back for more.

THE PROS: The authentic art style, coupled with the slick and quick interface make the slicing easy to get to. The games art style, mini-story and puns keep the user entertained. Also, the game play has no flaws. It keeps the illusion of sushi alive and still keeps things easy for the newbies. The in-game store actually is helpful, with new knives and what-not to buy. The music and sound effects are also adequate.

THE CONS: The game lacks any individuality. It is, at the end of the day, the same slice and dice formula that many follow. Also, the two game modes that are offered, are not all that different.
