In Train Conductor 2, you have to guide every train to its corresponding trainyard dragging them to create new shortcut railroads. As absurd as a proposal so simple and trivial appears to be, it has had and continues to have a great acceptance among users and critics. At the moment of this review it has amassed more than 5 million downloads and it has been awarded with several major prizes. Let's try to find out why.

One of the key reasons is gameplay easiness. There's a nice tutorial at the start of the game and every time a new feature is introduced, such as new trains or whatever. Each level is played as if it was a survival mode with a minimum score to unlock the next city. Although you can tap on a train to stop it, you'll discover soon that too many stopped trains are an insurmountable obstacle in your way to your high score.

Graphics are OK, maybe too childish, perhaps too cool, it's a matter of taste. Music is lovely and it's appreciated that developers are taking more and interest in music. It's a matter of time that games like this offer you to set their soundtracks as ringtones through in-app purchases.

Overall, a great game. No flaws, no complaints. Runs smoothly, it's devilish fun and absolutely deserves a go. In fact, we'd recommend it even to -or in particular to- children and grown-ups. If we could only ask for one thing, it'd be more spectacular crashes and more and more levels available. Two things easily remediable, in particular the latter, as you can always upgrade to the paid version to get rid of ads and get six new cities. Perhaps it won't be enough, but it'll be three times more for sure!
