Rebuild the constellations by stopping the stars
A constellation is a group of stars that make an imaginary shape in the night sky when you connect them together.
In this Twinkled game, your goal is to rebuild those constellations, which fell out of the sky, just by tapping the stars once they move over the circles. Then, the stars will stop and recreate a constellation.
Although the idea is pretty original, the game has no real appeal the game is too easy to do and repetitive after a while. This paid version includes up until 20 constellations, but we don't think it's worth it.
Revaler is the developer of Twinkled and only another application in the market. This would have potential as a game it it was harder and longer; now it's only useful if you're a fan of astronomy and constellations.
With a shower of falling stars in front of you, recreate the constellations such as Libra, Virgo, Leo, Ursa Minor Major, Aquarius and many more above the night sky in New York and Sydney.
Learn interesting facts about the science of the stars while you play the game. It's simple, educational and fun for everyone.
In modern astronomy, a constellation is an internationally defined area of the celestial sphere. These areas are grouped around asterisms (which themselves are generally referred to in non-technical language as "constellations"), which are patterns formed by prominent stars within apparent proximity to one another on Earth's night sky.
In 1922, the IAU in divided the celestial sphere into 88 official constellations. Where possible, these modern constellations usually share the names of their Graeco-Roman predecessors, such as Orion, Leo and Scorpius. Out of the 88 modern constellations, 36 lie predominantly in the northern sky, and the other 52 predominantly in the southern.
