Expert's Review
Choose the class of your character and get into the Real of Midgard to reach the tomb of an ancient warrior. You will have to advance through 227 unique maps and fulfill 136 quest if you want to beat the game. It won't be an easy journey.
There are four distinctive classes to choose among: Sword Knight, Shadow Hunter, Mechanic Launcher and Nature Shaman. Each of them have specific skills that must be improved as you progress. In order to achieve it you'll have to collect titles with special character boosting effects, kill the enemies that you find on your way and complete the missions. The items and weapons that you collect will help you on that issue (there are lots of different weapons: helmets, hauntlets, clothes... One of the features that we liked most is the Execution Room Mode that allows you to fight in single or sync co-op play mode and challenge your friends. There are three difficulty levels: normal, hard and hell mode.
The anime-based graphics should be certainly enhanced, however, we're used to see this kind of graphics on RPG for handheld devices. The animations are really good. Background music isn't as good though.
Controls are similar to other RPGs: Virtual D-pad on the left side and item buttons at the bottom. There's a kind of automatic aim when attacking the enemies that makes easier hitting them.
ZENONIA 3 gathers everything that a RPG needs. Although it can be enhanced in some regards, I think that, by now, it's one of the best RPGs available on Google Play.
