Zion is the last human city built on the underground in order to protect makind from a machine army that took the control of the Earth (Yes, Matrix plot).
Your goal is to resist the attack of the machines by placing towers and weapons strategically through different levels. Waves become more and more difficult to beat and the only way to achieve it is by upgrading your weaponry and equipment. When an enemy unit is destroyed you get cash for that. Don't keep it: invest it on enhancing your army or you'll no chance to survive.
As you progress through the game, more weapons and units will be unlocked. However, complexity increases until insanity and machines don't wait for you to think how to proceed. Fast strategic mind is what you need. Hours of fun guaranteed.
Graphics aren't stunning (overhead view), although animations and effects when machines attack are quite good and it supports HD. It's easy to get the hang of the controls: tap to select units, drag to move it to where you want to place it and double-tap. Although you can share your scores via Facebook or Twitter, there aren't online scoreboards to submit your records. Likewise, there is just one game mode.
Zion Defense is an action-packed Castle defense game with RTS elements by Play Today. The army of sentient Machines has infiltrated the last human stronghold of Zion and is trying to destroy the power generators to disable its defenses. Build units and send them to fight off the invading Machines. Build various turrets in key points of the map to gain tactical advantage. Every wave of enemies is a puzzle you have to solve using tactics and big guns! Attack, fall back or stand your ground - unlike most Tower Defense games - the control of the battlefield is all yours.
Look to the right and look to the left, enemies are everywhere! It is for you if you would like battles, if you can create plans for strong castle defense and manage units to reach great defense results. Join to Zion Defense.
Rack up bonus points by maintaining a kill streak combo - destroy enemy units and don't let them destroy yours. Compete with your friends and players around the world on the leaderboards. Unlock 18 achievements of “Zion Tower Defense” for a total of 1000 points.

A pointless exercise in repairing and replacing towers. Have the developers ever played a tower defence game before? Where's the upgrades? And more importantly where's the fun?
