Whatever-comes-to-your-mind Defense may be the genre that is growing more quickly on all Android Market. That means that there're defense-like games that are a mere copy of a previous one and, luckily, a few that combine originality with precise strategy and gameplay. Zombie Defense, this Zombie Defense comes from the latter group.
There aren't too many "towers" to choose from, nor there are heaps of upgrades and special attacks. You control a group of four survivors, each one with its own skills (reloading time, accuracy, rate of fire) and reasons to believe that all this z-stuff is just a matter of time and that if they can bear enough time they will survive. Once you clean a zone -what it means that you've survived one more night- you can spend daytime either preparing defenses as booby traps o sand sacks or looking for useful items as better weapons or health . Arm your team with the best weapons you find and expect a party overnight.
You may choose among three difficulty levels. Easy is pretty easy, normal is quite hard and hard is very hard. Although Zombie Defense could have everything needed to become a must have, it lacks not only of more depth in the script -characters could talk or express or do something- but also more incentives to move and explore. Adding just a few more species, Dromedary could serve the perfect combination of strategic defense and zombies.
Zed, a swaggering Texas Cowboy, is deadly accurate with weapons such as his .270 caliber deer hunting rifle, but has a poor rate of fire since he refuses to put out his cigarette even during the Zombie Necropalypse.
Candi has poor accuracy and slow reload time, but she is very pretty.
Toby has average accuracy and reload time, but has a very high rate of fire. He reasons that the solution to the rise of the walking dead is simply a matter of putting enough lead in the air.
Oma is the deadliest of the survivors. She's a grandmother of eight and a great-grandmother of four. She has nearly perfect accuracy and good reload time, having lived in Texas all of her life. She's seen worse than "this whole livin' dead thing" and she knows everything will turn out fine in the end.
Guide the survivors to scavenge the wreckage of the town by day for additional resources such as guns or bombs, or instead spend daylight hours improving your survivors' defensive positions. But when the sun goes down the Horde awakes, so at night there is only … Zombie Defense!

I don't see the strategy. You just give the 4 survivors guns and b then watch zombies run headlong into bullets. There is no planning or resource management to speak of

Gave the machine gun to granny and rifle to cowboy. Didn't use a single explosive until 9th Night. Even after detonating all my explosives and molotovs I still ended up with granny and chick dead. Searching is entirely random and I ended up with only 1 m
