Mobile version of the board game "Carcassonne"
Carcassonne, the board game, is one of those games that seem they were old before the war, when it's indeed a modern game that became a classic as soon as it was released. It takes its name from an archetypal medieval southern French village.
If you haven't ever played it, don't worry. There are just a few rules clearly explained in a brief yet concise tutorial. It's a turn based game where players create together a landscape placing tiles and earn points deploying followers on. Turn by turn, players try to earn as many points as they can controlling towns, roads, farms and monasteries. There's no fight, just strategy. In fact, as luck is rather no involved, it's mere strategy.
Game can be played alone through twelve different challenges; against AI foes (it should be highlighted that AI plays quite well and it's quite a challenge to defeat it) or, and here's the best part of it, with up to four human players via hotseat. Includes the expansion pack "The river", which adds river tiles.
In addition to English, are also supported Spanish, German and French. An odd midi-like troubadour theme accompanies all along the match. Graphics are functional, resembling the original board and pieces. No lags, freezes nor forceclosings detected. Loading times are brief and no additional downloads are required.
Highly recommendable for every board game or strategy lover, parents and children alike.
The award-winning tile based board game is finally here on Android! Just a few years after its release, Carcassonne became a modern classic and a must-play. Turn by turn, the players create a landscape by placing tiles with roads, cities, fields, and cloisters. The players deploy their followers - knights, monks, thieves, or farmers - to earn points. The player with the most points after the final scoring wins the game. The ever-changing landscape makes each game a new experience. You can play against clever AI opponents or with up to 5 other players in a local multiplayer match.
Besides The Settlers of Catan, Carcassonne belongs to the most popular German-style board games!

As fun as the real tile game
I would one if you could play someone else online, live or even a turn by turn play like Words With Friends kind of gameplay.
No more problems post updates. Playing without any problems. Enjoy game.
Can't name other human players since the upgrade.
Last update cannot be called that, while it introduces expansions (Micro transactions), it also introduces so many bugs that it simply cannot be called an update. Nothing game breaking, but it made me extremely thankful I had a back up.
The May 2014 update has made the game unplayable. I can't even create a profile
Wish I read others' reviews before I paid for expansions. Waste of money. Each expansion is buggy, to the point of freezing the game. Basically paid for something I can't play at all.
