A tilt maze game

  • Simple, suited for children
  • Places ad shortcut on desktop
  • Unacceptable amount of permissions

"Unsound of mind"

Ancient Engine brings back the essence of those old wooden mazes you have to tilt (quite literally) the game to make a ball reach the goal. Differences aside, your aim should be to tilt the device to move the ball and put it into the end hole saving spikes and traps while picking up stars in your way to improve your rating.

Game can be quite entertaining, but also too much simple at the same time, far from other similar games much more complex and witty. There are 40 levels ready to be played. Graphics and animations are what you would expect. The overall "old" design, allegedly inspired in Ancient Egypt is nice, but nothing to write home about.

Advertisement in this little version is really annoying, because beyond the usual in-game banners it places a misleading "search" icon on your desktop, let alone nearly twenty permissions it shouldn't ask for.
