A frequent complaint from some, new to NN (neural net) backgammon programs is "the program cheats". No, it does not cheat. If you are not convinced of this, try one of the NN programs (gnubg, jellyfish) that offer a "manual dice" feature. You will find that they win just as well you roll the dice or not. The perception that a skilled opponent is always incredibly lucky is a due to a combination of human nature..we remember our bad luck and forget the good rolls, and an ignorance of the subtle methods that experienced players use to maximize their chances.

Probably thee best backgammon game on android if only I could get fibs working. Tigergammon works but there are very few people there. Bug raised upstream regarding fibs.

The ai in this game is a really good player. In a lot of games the ai is a push over and can be easily beat. Download and play against grand master if you want a challenge. The game is a little sticky and not as smooth as ai factory game but computer is far better.

Having played thousands of games against gnubg on the PC, it's great to have the same level of play available on android now. I hope enough good players can submit 5-star reviews to outweigh the sadly mistaken folks who think that it cheats just because it's so good. Still, like many beginners, I remember thinking I knew how to play backgammon until I started playing the AI. I had to try the manua
