Mobile version of the board game "Carcassonne"

Carcassonne, the board game, is one of those games that seem they were old before the war, when it's indeed a modern game that became a classic as soon as it was released. It takes its name from an archetypal medieval southern French village.
If you haven't ever played it, don't worry. There are just a few rules clearly explained in a brief yet concise tutorial. It's a turn based game where players create together a landscape placing tiles and earn points deploying followers on. Turn by turn, players try to earn as many points as they can controlling towns, roads, farms and monasteries. There's no fight, just strategy. In fact, as luck is rather no involved, it's mere strategy.

Game can be played alone through twelve different challenges; against AI foes (it should be highlighted that AI plays quite well and it's quite a challenge to defeat it) or, and here's the best part of it, with up to four human players via hotseat. Includes the expansion pack "The river", which adds river tiles.

In addition to English, are also supported Spanish, German and French. An odd midi-like troubadour theme accompanies all along the match. Graphics are functional, resembling the original board and pieces. No lags, freezes nor forceclosings detected. Loading times are brief and no additional downloads are required.

Highly recommendable for every board game or strategy lover, parents and children alike.

Developer's original description available here
Just a few years after its release, Carcassonne became a modern classic and a must-play.

Turn by turn, the players create a landscape by placing tiles with roads, cities, fields, and cloisters. The players deploy their followers - knights, monks, thieves, or farmers - to earn points. The player with the most points after the final scoring wins the game. The ever-changing landscape makes each game a new experience. With the official expansion "The River II" and 12 challenges, it never gets old. You can play against clever AI opponents or with up to 4 other players in a local multiplayer match.

An excellent adaptation if the game. I hope we get the rest of the expansions.

This game balances luck vs strategy and has a nice game length. Usually takes me 2-3 tube stops. The AI is decent and doesn't noticeably cheat like the Catan AI.

I have this game in a 'concrete' form as well as on my ipod so when I saw it was also available for my android tablet I hit the button and handed over my cash. Now I am regretting it. The game plays ok (the instructions aren't great but I'm familiar with

Great game (somewhat biased as I love the real version) though could do with some more love, especially compared to the one available to ipad users.

No excuse for not having in this day and age online multiplayer. The core game is fine and a lot of fun but the lack of multiplayer means you're stuck with the stupid AI. Avoid it, buy the iOS version instead which has network play.

Great game, but could really use expansions and multiplayer against someone on another device.

Love the tabletop game...but this implementation is completely skippable. No obvious way to switch between AI and pass-and-play. AI character dialog is awful. No obvious way to skip to final score. Very meh.
