Mobile version of the board game "Carcassonne"
Carcassonne, the board game, is one of those games that seem they were old before the war, when it's indeed a modern game that became a classic as soon as it was released. It takes its name from an archetypal medieval southern French village.
If you haven't ever played it, don't worry. There are just a few rules clearly explained in a brief yet concise tutorial. It's a turn based game where players create together a landscape placing tiles and earn points deploying followers on. Turn by turn, players try to earn as many points as they can controlling towns, roads, farms and monasteries. There's no fight, just strategy. In fact, as luck is rather no involved, it's mere strategy.
Game can be played alone through twelve different challenges; against AI foes (it should be highlighted that AI plays quite well and it's quite a challenge to defeat it) or, and here's the best part of it, with up to four human players via hotseat. Includes the expansion pack "The river", which adds river tiles.
In addition to English, are also supported Spanish, German and French. An odd midi-like troubadour theme accompanies all along the match. Graphics are functional, resembling the original board and pieces. No lags, freezes nor forceclosings detected. Loading times are brief and no additional downloads are required.
Highly recommendable for every board game or strategy lover, parents and children alike.

The player with the most points after the final scoring wins the game. The ever-changing landscape makes each game a new experience. Excellent version, if you enjoy the board game. 81/100.
Tutorial won't progress past 4/7. Otherwise pretty perfect.
There should be a time limit on each player's turn in online as I've ended up waiting for the other person to resume, gave up after 10 mins or so and quit. Maybe a 2 min limit and automatically quit the game or default to person waiting?
used to be more playable. very slow and huge loading time now tho used to load quickly til they updated
Please update for Nexus Player w/controllers.
Would love to be able to screenshot gameboard at the end of each game.
Graphics are great, game plays fluidly and is fun to play. AI is good enough to entertain but makes many poor moves and has wrong priorities - experienced players will out score hard AI by 3 or even 4 times most games. Farms are frequently not scored but scoring otherwise seems to work well. All that said I highly recommend this for new and veteran Carcassonne players alike. Price a bit steep if y
