This is the android version of Freebloks 3D, an implementation of the famous board game Blokus by Sekkoia. Try to place as many pieces on the board, with only two simple rules: your stones must touch a corner of one of your previously places stones, but it must not share an edge. Can you play more stones than your opponents?
RULES:
Each player has 21 tetris-like tiles: 12 tiles with 5 squares, 5 tiles with 4 squares, 2 tiles with 3 squares, 1 tile with 2 squares and 1 tile with 1 square.
Players take turn in placing one tile onto the 20 x 20 board. The first stone for each player has to be placed in his corner of the board. Each following tile has to touch a corner of one of your previous tiles, but it must never share an edge. It may share an edge with stones from the opponents though.
If a player has no more possible move, he passes. The game is over, when no player can place a tile.
The number of squares for each piece are added up. The player with the fewest squares left wins.
HOW TO PLAY:
- swipe the list of available stones with your finger
- select and drag a stone onto the board
- rotate or flip the stone using the 4 handles
- reposition the stone to the desired position. The stone will appear green, if the position is valid, red otherwise. Possible corners are hilighted on the board for convenience.
- tap the stone in a valid position to place it
- you can rotate the board any time to see the stones of the opponents
Quit the app at any time, your current game will be saved and restored on next start.
FEATURES:
- supports 2-player mode, either with 2 colors (Blokus Duo) or 4 colors (2 each)
- support for different board sized other than 20x20
- play against the computer or humans on the same device
- play online against your friends (beta)
- hint and undo
- looks great on tablets, too!

On Froyo 800 mhz device the interface is clumsy and slow. A pity because the game seems interesting

I love Blokus and this seems to be a good version, with good AI. I don't always win. The other app I've played - Blokish - is more stable but the AI is too easy to beat. It still crashes some, but not midgame typically.

This apparently works really well, and the computer players are programmed well. I'm a good player and I don't always win on the hardest setting. I played one multiplayer game and it went smoothly. I have never experienced a crash mid game.

Cool game if you like Blokus. I haven't had any problems so far, besides it being a little slow.
