The goal is to untangle tangled lines so that they match a given pattern which is outlined in the background with white lines. The level is completed when all lines match the pattern and not a single white line is left unmatched. There are 100 levels to go, each of which offers a more complicated puzzle.
If you get stuck in a level you can use built-in video hints system to get a clue about how to solve that level. We recommend you to rack your brains though, that's what makes it so interesting.
There are different themes to choose among: Classic, Valentine Day's, Stars, Flowers and the new-brand (last update) April Fool's Day theme offering funny internet memes that change from level to level and original sounds. In the first weeks since it was released Glowium is reaching great success due to its simplicity, amount of levels and challenging gameplay.
Glowium is a simple game regarding graphics. However, puzzle lovers are fed up of puzzle games that look like different but in the end are the same. Glowium is something new and that's what makes so interesting. In a nutshell, it's worth to give it a go.
The rules are simple: drag points to untangle lines and make them match a predefined scheme drawn in the background with white lines. A level is completed when all the lines match the scheme and there are no white lines remaining. Should you have problems completing a level, use a video hint by clicking a question sign in the lower right corner!
