Vector SkiYou are a Greek Hoplite on a quest for the Fleece of Yendor.
Hoplite focuses on movement based combat on small arena-like maps. There is no “bump to attack”. Instead, enemies are attacked by moving around them or lunging toward them.
You have three abilities: Bash, Leap and Throw, which become more powerful as you progress by praying at altars. The three abilities require energy, which is gained by moving into tiles with adjacent enemies.

Recently changed in this version:
v1.5:
Fixed a crash caused when a slime is crushed with no tiles to split into. The slime will now just disappear.
Thank you to the anonymous user who submitted a great bug report so I could fix this.
v1.4:
Nexus 7 is now supported (and other devices that use the "tvdpi" screen density.
v1.3:
Fixed a crash using sweeping bash at the edge of the map.

I love the way the simple elements come together. So easy to understand but full of interesting decisions to make. I come back to it often when I want a quick game that isn't just a mindless pastime.

Really a great game in its simplicity, it keeps me hanging trying to figure out the best move, yet it's fast and funny to play. I will put 5 stars if it will be updated with sound effects, which I thing is the only thing this game really needs right now
