the skill to place your spacecraft into a high altitude orbit with minimum fuel? Think docking a spacecraft with another is a piece of cake? So did NASA's astronauts until they actually tried it! Simulating real word physics, LEO provides a fun introduction to Low Earth orbital flight... and a few surprises too.
LEO - Low Earth Orbit is a 2D Spaceflight Mission Simulator that lets you learn how to control a spacecraft in the Low Earth Orbit environment, and some of the unusual characteristics of the Low Earth Orbit environment. It is not as easy as the space agencies make it appear!
In the initial Training Missions you will learn how to launch, enter orbit, adjust your orbit, and land again back on Earth. In the later Operational Missions you will rendezvous with the International Space Station and conduct a range of mission-specific tasks, such as ISS orbit adjustments, astronaut rescue and avoidance of space debris.
Of course, this is meant to be fun so if you are very good you'll get to shoot missiles at debris (a stupid but fun pastime!). This game is suitable for adults and big kids who have a fascination with spaceflight and aren't afraid of gravity.
