Find as many words as you can within the randomized letters
I think my elementary school teachers used to make us play this game when they needed to waste a few minutes of time. I was one of those kids who glommed right onto the trick, competing like mad to come up with the longest list of words derived from a list of seemingly random letters. Twiscon Software's Solitaire Words plays in to this vague childhood nostalgia, but in the most staunchly austere way possible.
Select a buffer of 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 2 minutes, and you'll immediately be served a selection of letters. Tap them to create legitimate words in the English language. Words at least 4 letters long will net you time bonuses - the longer the word, the longer the bonus. Keep seeking until your time runs out.
I had some fun with this app because I am a self-proclaimed Word Nerd, but it's really minimal in what it offers. The graphics couldn't be any more basic, and I actually found myself wishing I could just write with a pen on paper instead of constantly tap the letters. There's also no way to see what words you've already submitted, so you might lose time repeating a few entries.
Twiscon Software's Solitaire Words is a good choice if you're looking to find words within random amalgamations of letters, no more and no less.
Are you able to earn the most points of all? Or perhaps be the one who found the most words in a single game? See how you stack up against your friends and the rest of the world using the integrated OpenFeint leaderboards!

Yes, they are strict, but the quality of the apps is miles ahead. Apps like this would never make it through.
Unresponsive controls turn what should be a fast-paced puzzler into a frustrating nuisance.
Love this game I can challenge myself at the same time built my iq
It was kind of fun but there is no rhyme or reason. I had 2 minutes to make words with all vowels and an. X. Plus, you don't get more tiles when you have more time or less. Not going to keep it.
All levels of this game are very good. Worth downloading
Different and challenging. HTC Sensation 4G
But not great, it is too small on my Sony S Tablet with the main play area stuck at the top of the screen and the the commit buttons at the bottom so its very disconnected and doesn't flow too well. There's potential though.
