"Building bridges has never been so fun"

Reviewed by / Jul 19, 2011

Use your skills and the given amount of materials to construct a bridge properly, to let the train crossing safe and sound

Sounds easy, but it is not. This is one of these puzzle games that will drive you mad trying to pass to the next level. X-Construction Lite is the free version that includes 10 different stages (in the paid version there are available additional stages and the “free build mode”).

The game starts just with a valley, a cliff and an amount of girder and ropes that you will have to fit properly to build a bridge. The main challenge is to construct something stable with that limited resources. We let you know that you will often beg to have one or two more girder to complete your construction. But the game will not give extra materials to you. And that's the keystone of the game, what makes it so funny. Once you have the bridge built (or you consider so), you just have to click on the play button to check if the train can cross it without falling down the cliff. If it happens (you will have to listen to scary screams of the poor travellers into the train) and then, you will have to improve your construction in order to make it more stable. Once the train gets to the other side of the valley (even if the bridge is far from being good), you will get to the next stage.

X-Construction Lite is a really addictive game and it is worth to get the paid version. However, we are missing more than 10 levels in the free version, a trial of the “free build mode” and maybe, more different kind of materials. Despite of this, it is an excellent game that put together simplicity and playability.

X-Construction Lite is developed by crossconstruct who has just launched to the free and the paid version of X-Construction with a remarkably success.

If you like puzzle games, you will love X-Construction. It will make you rack your brains to complete every single level. Ready for the challenge?

You're never too old to play with blocks and trains! And you get cables and beams too! Like an Erector Set tossed into your bin of LEGOs, wrapped in a "Sim". Awesome educational fun!
