Poker Pentad is an original game for up to 4 players - but also a great solitaire game for one person. It is based on Poker Solitaire and Poker Squares, but with some differences.
It has two phases.
Randomly selected cards from a standard 52-card deck must be placed on a 5x5 grid until the grid is full, with the intention of making poker hands horizontally and vertically and of maximizing the overall score.
The player then swaps two pairs of cards to optimize the hands formed. The player should, of course, be planning for this in the positioning phase.
When played by two or more players, the cards and the order of presentation to each player are identical.
Full Help facility.
Always opens in Portrait orientation.
