A multi-platform fantasy trading card game.

Shadow Era brings the essence of collectible card games to a multiplatform arena where players can play by his own on an individual campaign or chase foes to duel. By the way, you earn and buy cards to strengthen your deck while looking for the rarer and most powerful cards.

Does it look like that-game-you-already-know that started-it-all? Hell, yes.

There are flunkey cards, stuff cards and ongoing abilities. Heroes and lackeys have attack and defense values and odd skills to lure, disembowel and bury their foes, which is always welcomed in fantasy games, don't you think?

UI is as eye-catching as cumbersome: you can't pinch in or out. You can't swipe or drag either, having to aim to a tiny camera button at the bottom. Rules are quite straightforward and can be learnt in a few minutes by anyone who has already played a TCG. If not, well, it's easy when taught or you know the arcane secret of trial and error. Strategies can be learnt on the go, as there are few enough variables as to not overwhelm players but not too few as for bore'em.

Shadow Era may be as fun as any other of its tangible counterparts. Having both modes -solo and duel- is a big vote in favor. It can be played for free as long as you haven't your heart set on this or that rare armaggedonish card. It's worth a try to revive old (or not-so-old) times, if you like and play TCG nowadays or if you want to have a first contact with them. However, experience might be disappointing when compared to top-notch arcade-like or modern strategy games. It's up to you. In fact, it's your turn to play, Mulligan allowed.
