"Here's the heir"

Reviewed by / Apr 12, 2013

Catapult based physics game

Catapult King is the first of the new generation of games about throwing stuff against other stuff with a catapult, keeping in mind that a catapult is nothing but an evolved slingshot. In addition to awesome eye-catching 3D graphics and funny sounds, there are castles, evil knights and dragons galore, and spells, and a princess ready to be saved as soon as you solve every required stage.

It seemed that we'll never get to see a game able to face that other game about smashing green pigs, but this game is not only technically outstanding, but also is extremely addictive and a great example of smart gaming. Let's just hope that Chilingo releases tons of new levels and new scenarios so we can officially proclaim Catapult King as the heir to the Feathered Throne.

The game play is fun but seeing an ad (many with 5 or 30 second timers or even full length ads) after every single round, with some rounds being seconds long if you one shot it - you'll be spending more time on the ads than the game.
