As much as it may be geared towards kids, the Dream Fish App is oddly addicting. Watching fish swim lazily back and forth while tracking their progress unexpectedly provides some level of internal calm. While there are a few drawbacks, overall the experience is a good one.
The graphics are beautifully rendered and the game provides a lot of options where types of fish and environments are concerned. It also has a unique gameplay element of allowing the player to gain experience for their particular fish, which enhances player engagement.
Sometimes an odd buzzing sound can be heard in the background as you're playing the game. It appears to be intermittent. There's also no way to transfer the inhabitants of your tank to a new device after you've worked so hard to build them up.
