Elastic World is an original physics-based puzzle game
We like how smartphones are rising from their ashes some game genres. One of them is puzzle, which is living a second gold age. The best part is that mobile technology like touchscreen and tilt controls are fostering creativity and new and original titles are coming up as a consequence. Elastic World is one of those mobile native original puzzle games.
Elastic World sets out stages with elastic shapes that you can control just by touching and holding the screen. Those shapes will expand when you touch and back to their original shape when releasing. Your goal in each level is to make the ball touching the star, using the physics of the shapes movement. Systole, diastole.
Like other great physics-based games, it's easy to get the hang of it but, not such easy mastering it. Anyway, what would be great puzzle game if they weren't challenging?
The game is set in cute 2D cartoon-like graphics. No issues with screentouch response. This is the full version which includes 40 levels and all Worlds unlocked. You can share your scores on Facebook, Twitter or submit them on online leaderboards provided by OpenFeint. Be ready to have a blast.
★★★ Top Ranked on Google Play, June 2012 - #1 in USA, Germany, France and United Kingdom (casual games category 06/2012).
"Those seeking a straightforward, serious cerebral challenge should look no further", score 8.8/10 (Life of Android)
"Beautifully simple mechanic that leads to complex and ridiculously fun dynamics. A must buy for android. Runs beautifully even on low end devices." Marc (User review)
In Elastic World you control weird elastic shapes in order to make a ball hit the floating star.
Expand and collapse these jelly shapes and make the ball bounce in different directions and heights.
Sounds weird but is actually pretty fast to pick up.
Really nice and responsive physics engine. Feels almost real.
Each level gets increasingly challenging and sometimes you have to have some pretty quick reflexes as you compete against the clock.
The faster you can hit the star, the better you are ranked.
Now with Open Feint support. Share your scores with other players and climb your way to the top of the leader boards.
Really fun and addicting!
Please support independent video game development! This is the result of six months of hard work (done alongside a full-time job). Please give it a good rating.
Unlike several other games, the collision detection and physics engine were made entirely from scratch. The game and the level designer contain more than 28,000 lines of source code.

Needs update ASAP please. Will give 5 stars then.
I was going to call this an underrated puzzler but that's just not the case. Read through the reviews and you'll see most people who give this game a chance love it. The real problem is the fact that this game should be much more popular. It executes pe
even when I repeatedly fail a level (inevitable) I'm laughing rather than feeling frustrated. very appealing in lots of ways - and I am not usually into the gravity/physics games.
Bought this a while ago and loved it, but breezed through it. Please add more levels. I do not regret buying this.
But to become excellent and to also constitute value for money, it's going to need a level designer and sharing of those levels between players.
I dunno what's comin' next but can't wait for the next game pack bouncy ball(s)!
