Remake of Leisure Suit Larry: In the Land of the Lounge Lizards
First things first, know that Larry has become quite refined and won't run in most devices, so don't build up any hopes for it till you're actually playing: it might happen that you can download it but crashes in the installing process. Later, this top-notch game needs to undergo an in-app purchase of $10 in order to be unlocked, so we can add this game to the long list of classics remade for mobile devices launched at a very exorbitant price. Just for the record, LSL:R began its journey in a successful Kickstarter campaign. We told you, read our article here.
In exchange, Larry's as good as ever, if not better. At least, that's what will think those who played the original, because graphics and music are superb, and new puzzles have been added. There's a lot of humor, but also care and work, put in this game. You can enjoy the hand-painted artwork, the beautiful voice acting and the racy dialogues with gorgeous 2D females. If you can imagine how Larry would be if ported to mobile, that's how this game is.
On the other hand, Larry has grown older. SCUM-like point and click adventures have either evolved or died out, and Larry seems a little bit out of place, youngsters might not feel comfortable with controls, let alone unsound puzzles and references to the eighties.
Speaking frankly, thirtysomethings will love this game, truly, it's like a Delorean ready to bring you back to the time of floppy disks. Otherwise, think of it as an experiment about how games were made then and, unless force majeure occurs, how they won't be like anymore.
This game requires 1GB of memory to run. Some 512MB devices will not work due to reduced available memory.

It’s not just the funniest game you've ever played…
…it’s also the most infamous video game of all time!
Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards was first released by Sierra On-Line in 1987 and be-came an international phenomenon. The lovable loser Larry Laffer -- a 40-year-old virgin in pursuit of losing his vir….um, finding true love -- and risqué humor were unlike anything anyone had ever seen or played.
Now Larry’s original creator, the world-famous game designer Al Lowe, has teamed up with Sierra Veteran Josh Mandel, to bring this amazing, perverted game back to life – updated and expanded in every way imaginable! All we kept from the original game is the plot. EVERYTHING else is fresh and new including:
•Incredibly lush new high-res graphics! Explore all the seedy sights and sounds of Lost Wages, where fortunes and reputations go to die!
•A brand new musical score by Grammy-nominated and BAFTA Award-winning composer Austin Wintory! Fresh from completing the musical score to Journey (available for download on the PS3), Austin composed the best music Leisure Suit Larry has ever heard!
•Everything in the game was rebuilt from the ground up, including all hand-painted backgrounds, characters, and state-of-the-art 2D animation!
•Thousands of hilarious new lines, gags, jokes, and dialogues, written by Al’s old Sierra partner, Josh Mandel (aka the voice of King Graham from King’s Quest)!
•New characters, new locations, new puzzles, and a major new love interest for Larry!
What’s more, Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded is the first major game to be released with funding by Kick-starter! Over 14,000 fans chipped in to bring Larry back to life!
Will Larry find true love? Will Lost Wages ever be the same? And will YOU want to play any other comedy adventure once you've played Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded?
There’s only one way to find out!
Wow, they reviews keep on comin' (wait a second........)

Really enjoying the game so far and made the purchase with a smile. Lush artwork, comedic narration and all risque. Would love if there were more classics like this one come back to life... I played ALL the old Sierra games, and I'd certainly contribute
I lucked up & came across this...I still have this game on cd rom.....for my computer.....guess, I'll be replaying on there for free......As much as I would love to purchase....really dnt trust it anymore....learned from another popluar game ....never to
Why this game needs to know my location? I already paid you for the full game and I wouldn't have installed the demo in the first place if it was asking me that. Otherwise it's a great game and I would give 5 stars if it wasn't for that.
Please provide an explanation of why you suddenly need to know my location. I will not be updating until you do.
