A defense game

  • It's fun and it's free
  • Graphics and overall performance must be enhanced

"The day the Earth stood still"

As part of this developer collection of games of every hue, here's Meteor Attack, a simple yet fun game that we might well put into the "frenetic defense" category. You have to throw your nukes to the air and hope the explosion destroys the incoming meteors, so timing is crucial. You can't launch more than five missiles at once, so please don't run amuck and start to tap the screen as if there were no tomorrow. Well, indeed the game is about that, but you get the picture. If all houses at the bottom are destroyed, game's over.

Although graphics are from the poorest retro style and gameplay is quite odd, it's a gun game, enjoyable by anyone. It won't ever reach the top of any chart, but there's no harm in giving it a go. Who knows, perhaps this is your next, don't tell anyone, favorite game, even when there's no goal or reward other than getting to higher levels.
