A game about friendship
School 26 is a dialogue-driven game in which Kate, our brave and lovely main character, starts a new school year in a new high school...for the umpteenth time. Her kinda hippie family moves constantly, and it's hard for her to make and keep friends, but this year is different: her parents and she have made a deal: if she fits in they won't move anymore.
Before you wonder, the answer is 'no', Kate isn't a witch nor a werewolf nor the school is full of supernatural freaks. This game is about a real girl with real problems, and here's where lies the charm of this game, specifically addressed to pre-teens and beautifully designed in a Western-like cartoon drawings (not manga-style, even though it'd have been a great idea, too). If Kate stands out in something, is for her empathy, which unfortunately seems to be a rare skill nowadays.
It's a game about friendship, assorted with mini-games and a little bit of strategy, created by Silicon Sisters, a company getting a name for their elegant games of this kind. I would like it better if storyline had been somehow bolder and some scenes would have been less cliche, but it's a great game for girls, far from other games where points are scored by buying shoes and flirting with the starting quaterback.

Great game but it keeps closing every five minutes, please fix for 5 stars. I also think you shouldn't have to pay for the summer addition if you paid for the originial
