We all know only too well that mobile gaming is nothing less than a paradise for casual gaming and casual gamers. Tic Tac Toe is the epitome of casual gaming, thus there are approximately a ton or so of tictactoe games so far released on market.
We've chosen to highlight Ximad's game because, within the absolute simplicity of a Tic tac toe game, it's a game well presented and tries to innovate a little even knowing how few can be innovated here. It comes with single and two players mode (hot seat, this is, same device) and three game modes: the nonsense 3x3 grid, a 6x6 grid in which you have to put four in a row, and an awesome 15x15 grid which needs five consecutive marks in order to win. Game's depicted as if it was played by the seashore. It'd be a greater deal if there were more themes to choose, though.
A special treatment is deserved by the IA, because it may seem rather silly. It indeed is, for sake of gameplay playfulness. At the beginning it will often fail but eventually it will learn the basics and start playing logically (so you are fated to tie the match unless you get distracted). It's a nice touch, because if it was otherwise, there would be no reason no play against an IA unless your name was Dr. Falken and you were trying to avoid a global thermonuclear war.
Therefore, if we compare this Tic Tac Toe HD to nearly any other, we'd say this is better.
Have in mind that this is the HD version of Tic Tac Toe, suitable for up to 1280x800 screens.
