Toy Village is similar to other Ville or Village's titles. The goal is to build houses, roads, farms and other services in order to turn your village in a lively city. The main difference lies on the inhabitants of this city, the ones who live in there aren't not humans but toys. Likewise, they have specific only-for-toys services and facilities. In spite of this, gameplay is quite similar to other titles.
One of the features I like most is the tutorial that pops first time the game's started. This kind of games are a little difficult to get the hang of it and that's really useful. Graphics aren't impressive, but enough for this kind of game: what really matters is playability. All the actions can be performed by tapping.
There are lots of fruits, buildings, decorations and toys to unlock. This makes the game entertaining. However, the main catch we've noticed is that, in order to make your city growing faster, you can buy (in-app purchase) packs of in-app currency (glues). Since this game has been specially designed for kids, we think that could be dangerous. It re-direct you straight to the store when you ask for one of this packs. It would be good that the developers add some parental control in this regard.
The game won't disappoint fans of this kind of management games since it's well-crafted. Glu Mobile's reliability is backing it.
