War Of Wizards

War Of Wizards's review

An original defense game

  • Children friendly
  • Smart gameplay
  • Good design
  • Overall, no complaints

"WoW Mips!"

We like when developers blur the outlines of genres and create their own ideas. War of Wizards can be one of those eclectic games that even though remind of previous stuff, they have personality on its own. In fact, War of Wizard should be considered a defense game, but also requires a certain degree of analysis and even a little bit of reflexes. You play the role of a wizard banishing evil spirits from his friends the Mipos.

Tapping on a Mipo will slap its face, do it over till it's cleansed and tap on the spell button to raise a magic shield to protect you from incoming red bat-winged turtles and other attacks. By the way, it might happen that you tap in an empty place and find a hidden treasure.

As you earn stars for clearing levels, you can upgrade your skills to slap faster and stronger, summon more powerful shields or cast new spells. You can also enjoy arena battle, a sort of survival, so to speak.

There's a nice and balanced array of levels, enemies, spells and achievements, so here's an original game to keep you entertained for hours, or even better, to keep your child busy while you do anything else, given the very welcome children-friendly approach of this game. In conclusion, a recommended game for parents and children alike.
