It's hard to review a Kairosoft game without being led astray away by their lovely and great previous games. This time, World Cruise goes closer to the genre's origins and it focuses more on managing routes and resources based on customer's feedback rather than battling or arranging individual's coexistence within a group, team, tribe or whatever.
Graphics and animations, as well as sound, follow Kairosoft's policy, so you already know what's to be expected. Long story made short, this might not be the best Kairo game ever, and perhaps it isn't as eye-catching or thrilling as others, but those fans who were looking forward to a more serious approach on management will actually enjoy it much, not to talk about the endless options aboard.
A last word: it's nice to see how Kairosoft is extending its catalogue and, at the same time, being faithful to its own philosophy. We all know that this won't last for ever and sooner than later they will have to introduce changes here and there, but in the meanwhile, let's enjoy their little jewels.
This lite version only allows to play the first in-game year. You can upgrade then and keep your game as it is.
