Catch The Ring Game is the mobile version of a classic physics-based casual game
If you were a kid back in the 80's I bet you have played this game with a dedicated gadget: real plastic rings, real waters and real buttons to push. The simplest gameplay ever: push the buttons to toss the rings up through the water tank and tilt the device to steer them towards the posts. Put all of them onto the corresponding posts in the right order as fast as possible to beat the level with the highest score. Easy right? Well, it gets more difficult as you advance through the game.
There are two game modes: 30 levels in Campaign mode (increasing difficulty) and then some other levels in Random mode. The game is set in 3D graphics which aren't stunning but enough for the genre. Physics are quite realistic and it truly reminds playing the old gadgets. Actually, sounds effects also help that time-travel. Controls are intuitive: three buttons to toss the rings and tilt controls (using accelerometer) to guide them towards the posts.
Simple, entertaining and original (this is the first app I've reviewed so far featuring this classic gameplay).Developer's original description available here
This game has an awesome physics and game play.
In the game you need to pass the levels at the shortest time period possible, accumulating the highest scores. You will need to make quick decisions which button to press, where air flow should be directed and put rings of various size onto the corresponding posts in the right order using your phone Accelerometer.
You can play the game on your own or let your children develop motility and cognitive skills.
You’ll admire not only the game play, but the also the sound effects!
Useful function ‘random level’ makes it possible to start the game at a random level after completing it.
‘Сatch The Ring’ will help you to fill in time and enjoy beautiful game physics ‘Objects in The Water’.
