Despite her youth, Vanessa Saint-Pierre Delacroix is a Master puzzle solver. However, a magic box that she found on her father's antique shop, has trapped her and her entire world in a nightmare of puzzles. Your mission is to help Vanessa to solve these last puzzles in order to get out of the box.
The goal is to reach the door in each level asap, something that would be quite easy if Vanessa wasn't trapped on 3D cubed rotating levels. That's what makes the game such interesting. Thus, you have to rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise the cube to clear Vanessa's way. Bear in mind that sometimes she has to fall between cube sides to get to the one where the gate is.
You won't get the maximum score (three coins) unless you accomplish the three requirements: reaching the door before the time's up, do it within the maximum allowed moves and collecting all the coins in the level. The game becomes insanely difficult but it does it gradually (acceptable learning curve) through its 36 challenging levels. All levels can be replayed in order to collect all the elements and improve your score. Actually, score matters if you like to post your personal best on online leaderboards provided by Openfeint.
Just a catch: it should be enhanced graphically. From my point of view, that creepy, dark, environment is a wise choice. However, there's still some work to do with textures and high-end details.
I recommend to play it wearing headphones: the music created by Telethon is simply awesome. Playing Vanessa feels like playing one of those simple yet entertaining indie games (Fez, Braid...) that shook up the market during 2012.
