Flip Riders comes from the old premise of 2D trial bike games in which you have to run a track the faster the better avoiding obstacles and doing stunts. It's a quite popular genre in mobile devices, and here we have of the best examples about how fun and addictive they can be, courtesy of Bad Juju Games.
In order to improve what came before, it brings nice 3D-like graphics, plenty of stages and a couple of difficulty levels, plus a lot of little details that really make the difference, as the fully-animated character at the forefront, three different control modes and the lovely "panic button" to slow down the game in exchange of a few points to think what are you doing and where you want to go.
Tracks are fun and smart, with original and colorful obstacles such as swimming pools filled with sharks, helicopters or fire hoops to jump through them. In some stages the track is dynamic, and new ramps or elements will appear as you advance further. However, we'd like there were a "ghost mode" or any other way to play against a friend or yourself.
Nice graphics, adequate music, great gameplay. To cap it all, it's an ad-free game.
