"Old-school racing"

Retro Racing is an old-fashioned F1 game inspired by the classics

Retro Racing brings you back to the 80's. Pixels, exaggerated physics and simple controls. Can any brand-new racing game beat that? I'm afraid not. At least not regarding that mix of nostalgia and high-playability that makes retro games such appealing.

Be careful though: there's no correlation between simple pixelated graphics and simplistic games. Retro racing can be proud of its UI and amount of features. First off, it supports multi-language: English, French, Italian, German and Spanish so far. In addition, from Main you can access local and online leaderboards provided by Scoreloop as well as unlocked achievements.

There are two different game modes: "1 Player mode" in which you compete against 4 other CPU cars. There are 12 unlockable tracks in this mode. You have to finish 3rd or better to unlock the next track. "2 Players mode" means hot-seat mode, in other words, two players playing on the same device, screen-divided. This mode can be annoying if the screen of your device is too small. However, if you manage to play without disturbing your opponent, you will have a blast challenging each other. Bear in mind that you can only play those tracks that you unlocked first in single player mode.

Old-fashioned graphics, neat interface, different game modes and online leaderboards. All you need to get your fingers burnt.

After paying to unlock more tracks, the game still says I need to pay.

Crashes back to the home screen whenever I finish a race. Am running Android 5.0 on a 2013 Nexus 7 if that helps... EDIT: After playing this on my phone running Android 4.4.4 I think this might have something to do with Scoreloop, whatever that is...
