"Queen's back!"

Openly inspired by 16bit RPG games, Queen's Crown 2 honors both its origins and its predecessors, and at the same time it runs away from the damsel-in-distress cliche, as the main character is the queen herself armed with a pair of rapiers, ready to fight back any monsters and even the Grim Reaper on her own.

In order to save the day, the world and everything else, the Queen will have to fulfill quests and talk to non player characters who can give away important information or sell useful items. The world is vast and wide, but its revealed as you advance both in the plot and in the skill tree. As what it is, an old school RPG, it's nearly flawless, nevertheless it's a little bit chipped from the port to mobile. In conclusion, we would have loved to play this game twenty years ago on a TV, sat on the carpet. This doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable nowadays, but it's uncomfortable to play it elsewhere other than in the comfort of your couch.

Anyway, a four out of five for a great game.
