Dude Perfect

Dude Perfect's review

A physics based game

  • Good physics work
  • Unbelievable solutions (yes, that's good here!)
  • No free version
  • Replays can't be saved or shared

"Ambassadors of fun"

In case you haven't seen Dude Perfect's Youtube channel, know that they are a group of extreme basketball enthusiasts who record the most impossible baskets ever. This game faithfully gets in the spirit of the videos thanks to an adequate use of physics and an appropriate design.

Game's fun, and baskets are pretty impressive. Indeed, there's a catch, everything is about trial and error: you only control timing, angle and strength, and once you beat the tutorial, things get actually difficult. In exchange, you can figure out how your smile will be when you achieve the most extreme shots. Stages are divided into seven 'worlds' reproducing the scenes we see in their videos.

There are multiple solutions for every stage in this what we could call "physics puzzle game". We'd like to see a level editor or any customization options (hey, I wanna create my own perfect dude!), but it's a great game on its own with the added value of the franchise it represents. It's suited for all ages, but younger players may feel discouraged by its high difficulty.
